Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 September 2026
By installing and using Comlynk you agree to the terms below. If they do not suit you, please do not use the app.
The app
Comlynk is a free iPhone app that photographs business cards, extracts the contact details and keeps them on your device. It has no in-app purchases, no subscription and no user account.
Your use of it
You agree to use the app in line with applicable law. Business cards contain other people’s personal data: it is up to you to handle that data lawfully, in particular under the GDPR if you use it in a professional context.
Your data
The records you create belong to you and stay on your iPhone. The developer has no access to them and therefore cannot restore or recover them. Keeping a backup is up to you — an encrypted iPhone backup, for instance.
Recognition accuracy
Reading a card depends on the quality of the photo, the typeface and the stock. Recognised fields may contain errors and remain editable in the app. Check a detail before relying on it for anything important.
Warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app — including loss of data or a misread contact detail.
Intellectual property
The Comlynk name, its logo and the app’s code remain the property of their author. The photos of cards you take belong to you.
